Designer: Robert Harbin

The Vanishing Radio was not originally created by Robert Harbin, but his method and look is original and detailed in the “Magic of Robert Harbin. Owners of this book are authorized to build and perform the illusion.

The magician carries a large portable radio that is tuned to a local station. While playing, the radio is placed inside a carrying case. The door to the case is closed and instantly opened showing that the radio has disappeared (and stopped playing).

The method is clearly different than both the previous and also modern versions of the vanishing radio.
