The magician shows an industrial fan and turns it on. He covers the top half leaving the bottom half exposed and showing the blades continuously spinning. He then pulls his body through the upper half of the fan.

Windshear was developed by Jim Steinmeyer from an Alan Wakeling idea. Jim created the illusion for Kevin Spencer. The first unit was built by Bill Smith.
